It all started with a sweet boy’s sweet tooth…

A literal mom and pop venture, Sweet Crunch started with these two parents, one very enthusiastic kid, and a serious love for tanghulu. Inspired by their son Andrew's love for the classic treat, what began as a kitchen experiment (with plenty of sticky fingers and happy crunching) quickly turned into a family mission: share this shiny, crackly, joy-on-a-stick treat with as many people as possible.

Meet Nina

With a dream of building something truly sweet, Nina founded Sweet Crunch with big ideas, boundless heart, and a love for sharing joy. She brings the vision, the sparkle, and the hands-on magic—setting the tone for everything we do, one shiny skewer at a time.

Meet Pete

Pete brings the heart of a candy man and the reliability of a true pro. He loves the fun of the events—the smiles, the excitement, the crunch—but takes his role seriously when it comes to showing up prepared and delivering every time. He handles the logistics, and private events with laser focus, making sure every detail is just right, even while standing next to a table of shiny fruit on sticks.

More About Tanghulu

History on a Stick:

Tanghulu began as a beloved Chinese street treat, made to turn simple fruit into something joyful and shareable. Each skewer carries a little tradition, a little nostalgia, and a whole lot of crunch

A Sweet You Can Feel Good About

At its core, tanghulu is fresh fruit—bright, juicy, and naturally delicious—wrapped in a thin, crackly sugar shell. It’s a treat that feels light, balanced, and just sweet enough

The Crunch Behind the Magic

That unmistakable crack is what makes tanghulu unforgettable. Watching the sugar harden, hearing the snap, and tasting the contrast is all part of the fun—because this dessert is meant to be experienced, not just eaten
